Shane Ahern

A native of Waterford, Shane is the NewGen forester based in the South of the country. Shane graduated from Waterford Institute of technology in 2021 with a master’s degree in forestry.

Since joining NewGen, Shane has focused on harvesting rights acquisition and private harvesting. Shane also prepares felling licenses, woodland improvement and Ash reconstitution submissions to the Forest Service.
